Construction has begun on the new flying field

We got a lot accomplished today......the last picture is the road  and new parking lot.   I was able to use the roller to pack the entire runway, pit, and parking area......Three firsts for me today....first flight (Dan has the pix.), first dual with  buddy box....the owner of MiTrack, and his employees got some stick time, and I learned how to run a roller!  After you look at all the pictures.....did you notice a major item at the end of the runway is missing?  Gone with the blessing of the owner.   Dan tells me that the land owner is going to seed all the areas needed to grass for us!!!!  Also have a line on a port-a-potty.....If you visit the site, please turn slowly on the new gravel until it gets settled.....Geo
